Welcome Summitt Students and Families!
Teachers are preparing for your arrival and are excited to greet you and welcome in the new school year. Construction inside the building (Project #1) is wrapping up and will be completed with new air conditioning throughout the main building. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to clean and prepare. Project #2 has begun outside of the gym area for the addition to the building for new bathrooms. This project will continue through this school year. Students will be guided to stay away from the area. Safety fences and all precautions are being put into place to keep Summitt students and staff safe.
School begins Monday, August 24, 2015. Assembly will not begin until Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Summitt’s doors open 7:10 AM. 4th and 5th grade students will wait in the gym. The other grade levels will wait in the main hall until 7:30 AM when their teachers will walk their students to class. You are welcome to walk your student to class and say good-bye at the door. Student begin learning their class routines “Day 1”.
