SUMMITT NEWS
PE News from Coach Comsudi
“We are celebrating the end of our first 9-weeks with some spooky fun Halloween games in PE this week!  Our upper grades are completing their Fitnessgram testing as we roll into November. We will be focused on basketball skills and drills and our health topic for the month of November is all about the dangers of smoking. I am positive your children will be coming home to tell you all about our discussions…so just a heads up! They will be learning about the dangerous effects of second-hand smoke.

A big thank you to our PTA who will be helping us purchase brand new gymnastics mats this school year through their grant program! I would also love to thank everyone who supported our Y-ties fundraiser. We raised over $2000 and will get to keep half of the profits! We can’t wait to order some new equipment and plan for our upcoming events.

We hope that your kiddos have been enjoying Physical Education at Summitt!”
