Artwork Fundraiser Orders Due on Friday
Your child has recently brought home a piece of original art in a green bag with an order form. This artwork is part of an art-based fundraising program at our school, called “Original Works”. Through this program, you have the opportunity to purchase a variety of products featuring your child’s very own artwork. If you would like to do so, please make sure to send back the artwork in its bag and the order form by this Friday, November 4th.
PTA meeting on Monday
There will be a General PTA meeting right after the PTA board meeting on Monday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library. The topic will be on bullying.
Election Day at Summitt
Summitt is a voting location on Tuesday, November 8, so we will not have an assembly that morning.
We need at least 2 volunteers that morning, from 6-8:30 a.m. to set up cones and monitor the Entrance/Exit to the Teacher Parking Lot. We need those spots available for teachers and staff and to keep the lanes open for student drop-offs only. We’d also like to have other volunteers monitor the front drive to make sure voters are not parked in the bus/car drop-off line.
Voters will need to enter on the side entrance, facing Mosely, not the front entrance. They will need to park on the street. If you are interested in helping, please contact the front office, 512-414-4484.
Summitt Family Night

Individual prizes are awarded to the children who bring the most cans. Contest slips can be found on the community table in the Great Hall.
