Cars dropping off from the Amherst direction should use the car line drop off that runs through the teacher parking lot 2. Cars dropping off from the Mosley/Brigadoon direction should use the car line drop off that runs through the bus lanes in front of the school 3. Students should be ready to hop out of their vehicle as soon as the driver comes to a complete stop within 4 car lengths of the front of the line. Coats and backpacks should already be in hand. If your student needs more time, don't use the car line. Instead, pull into a parking space in the visitor lot so that you can assist your student without holding up the line. 4. Please don't socialize with the teachers and staff opening the car doors as this holds up the line. A quick thank you will suffice. The webinar is being offered by Austin Council PTA and AISD Parent Engagement Support office as a learning opportunity for PTA and school communities in Austin ISD. Patti Everitt is a consultant on state education policy with a focus on the impact of charter schools on public education. Most recently, she coordinated the legislative agenda to increase the transparency and efficiency of charter schools in Texas that was supported by 16 statewide education groups. Patti has worked with foundations, school districts, and nonprofit organizations to develop innovative education, employment, and health programs for youth.
