Spring and classroom pictures on Friday
Spring and classroom group pictures will be taken on Friday, March 23. The classroom group photo flyer will need to be returned with payment ($15) on picture day.

The spring picture just needs to have the form returned with the style selected. These packets will be printed and shipped in approximately 3-4 weeks after picture day. Parents will then have the opportunity to purchase from the package and customize their purchase to meet their needs. There is no obligation to purchase and any unselected prints need to be returned to the school.

o   Spring Fling co-chair – help coordinate spring fundraiser; some work in the fall, most in the spring
o   Spring Fling Committee Member – be part of the team that helps plan Spring Fling; most work in the spring
o   Yearbook – gather and create yearbook; most work in the spring
o   Family Sponsors – get families to donate to Summitt; most work in the fall
o   Birthday Marquee – get donations to post birthdays on the Marquee; most work in the fall
o   Family Nights – plan monthly family nights; does not have to be at event; most work in the summer/early fall
o   Workroom – help and coordinate volunteers to make copies, laminate, etc. in the teacher workroom

If you are able and willing to help, email our PTA president Nicole Erickson at [email protected]. Not sure which position will match your schedule or interests? Email anyway! We will happily help you find a role that fits your abilities and availability.

Got the time?
This section features volunteer opportunities with specific time estimates. Check here each week to see what’s needed. That way, if you “got the time,” you can help out regularly for 5 to 15 minutes, or for a couple hours on a one-time project.

  • If you have an hour or two (or more!) this Friday, March 23, please consider helping out with spring picture day at Summitt. Volunteers might assist the photographer with getting classes in size or alphabetical order. They may also run ahead to give classes a heads up before their turn for pictures. If you’re able to help, please let Shana in the front office know.

  • If you can spare 15 minutes after the 7:45 am bell, please stay to open the door for late students.
