Summitt Summer Camps
Summitt Elementary will host a summer camp during the first two weeks of
June, divided into two 1 week sessions from 9am to 3pm with extended
hours available if needed. Proceeds from Summitt Summer Camp are used to
fund school-wide needs such as technology, classroom materials and
professional development. Click here for details.
Spring and Class Pictures
Spring and classroom group pictures will be taken on Wednesday, March
13th for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grades and Thursday, March
14th for PPCD, Life Skills, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Parents should
have received flyers in the Monday Folder on March 4th to order these
pictures. The classroom group photo flyer will need to be returned with
payment ($15.00) on picture day. The spring picture will need to have
the form returned with the style selected. These packets will be
printed and shipped in approximately 3-4 weeks after picture day.
Parents will then have the opportunity to purchase from the package and
customize their purchase to meet their needs. There is no obligation to
purchase and any unselected prints can be returned to the school. Did
you forget? That’s ok. You can still send in your money for class
pictures until Friday.

Summitt Playground
As many of you know, the Summitt playground has been under construction
the last few months. Our new playground equipment installation will be
complete soon and we are thrilled to have an updated space for our
students to play.
Summitt Track
The next phase of construction will begin over Spring Break as the
Summitt track gets a major upgrade. As there will be no students on
campus, the area will not be fenced off, so the district construction team asks that you keep clear of the track area over the break.
Their goal is to complete most, if not all, of the work while the
students are not on campus. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting
spring at Summitt. The current track will be dug up and material
removed, it will be leveled, made a more uniformed width, moved slightly
further from the heritage oak, drainage issues will be improved, and a
new surface applied. So pretty much a complete overhaul.
Math Pentathlon
This Tuesday our Math Pentathlon participants were recognized at morning
