Here is a link for the Wednesday email newsletter. Coat Drive – Last Days Our 5th grade Girl Scout Troop #1277 is holding a Coat Drive to support Covenant United Methodist FreeStore. The troop is working on their bronze award, and this coat drive is one part of their project. Helping Summitt Families There are a few Summitt families who could use a little help making their Holiday season just a bit brighter. We have created a wish list of items; you can purchase directly from Amazon and it will ship straight to the school. Families will then come pick the items up next week. Thank you for helping make sure all our fellow Eagles have a wonderful Holiday season. Summitt Appreciation Weeks Want to say “thank you” to everyone who makes your child’s school week a good experience? The Summitt Appreciation Team created “thank yous” this fall semester for our custodians, food service workers, cafeteria monitors, bus drivers, and teaching assistants. Next semester, we will thank and celebrate national appreciation weeks for crossing guards, counselors, academic specialists, librarians, office administration, principal and vice principal, teachers, and nurses. To show your appreciation, go to the Summitt online store to donate $5 or more. We also accept cash/check donations and can send you more information to make this happen. Email questions to [email protected]. Teacher Workroom Help Needed If you have 10-15 minutes to spare, the Teacher Workroom could use some help next week. Teachers need help with copying, die cutting, and laminating. Hours are 7:10 am-3:30 pm. If you can help, please contact Karen Reyna at [email protected]. Summitt’s Operation Blue Santa was a Success A great big thank you goes out to the Summitt community. With your generous donations, we were able to collect 3 big boxes full of toys for Operation Blue Santa. We have never failed to support anyone in need. Have a safe and joyful holiday!
