Volunteers Needed for Summitt Library Inventory Each year in an effort to keep our collection current and accurate, the librarian must scan each and every item in the library collection, including all books, videos, CDs, and professional materials. With about 20,000 items to scan and a two-week window in which to do it, the librarian is very appreciative of any extra hands. Volunteers must be able to go from a sitting position to a standing position comfortably and monitor a few basic operations on a computer.
