Mark Your Calendars for Eagle Fest 2019!!
Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3-6pm
Plan to bring your family, neighbors, and friends to enjoy the wonderful carnival atmosphere, play games, and raise money for our school! Eagle Fest is our largest-attended PTA fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds go directly to our Summitt students!
To gear up for our event, we’ve put together all the necessary information for you here.
Summitt Elementary’s Eagle Fest 2019
When: Sat. Oct. 19, 2019 from 3pm-6pm
Where: Summitt Elementary basketball court and playground
All of your old favorite games are back this year, as is our fabulous prize table. Buy tickets to play our fun games and earn tokens to exchange for prizes at our prize table.
Tickets can be purchased in bundles of 10 for $5.00. That’s only 50 cents a ticket! Approximately 20 tickets will allow a child to play each token-winning game at Eagle Fest once. An additional 20 tickets will allow a child to do every single game/booth/attraction. New this year we will have Boba Tea from Teapioca Lounge, Cotton Candy from Fancy Fluff and Shaved Ice from Kona Ice! Bring extra cash for those treats. We will also have Hotdogs and popcorn that will be available for purchase via tickets. A hotdog dinner for a family of four (4 hotdogs/4 bags of chips/4 waters) will cost 24 tickets.
In case of rain, we will move the fun indoors to the Great Hall.
Eagle Fest Booth Volunteer Sign-Up
Eagle Fest runs on the willingness of each classroom to staff a booth. We ask every family to volunteer 30 minutes (or more if you can spare the time!) of their time to staff their child’s classroom booth. We’ve made it easy on you this year – all signups will be done on Sign Up Genius (no registration required). Signups are listed first by grade/ then alphabetical by the teacher’s last name. Check back as the date nears for the Sign-up.
Thank you for volunteering. Eagle Fest cannot be a successful event without all of you and your support of Summitt!
Item Donations (drinks/chips/pop-up canopies and coolers)
Eagle Fest needs to borrow your coolers. If you have a cooler and/or a pop-up that you can lend us, please bring them labeled to the Great Hall in the next couple of weeks. If you are unable to bring your cooler or pop-up to the school, contact us at email@example.com and we will arrange a pick up.
Don’t forget to bring in your donations – we are most in need of tall Pringles cans, 16oz water bottles, and 2 liter soda bottles.
Skip the Line! Buy your Eagle Fest 2019 Tickets Now!
Who wants to wait in line? Save yourself and your family some time and buy your Eagle Fest tickets the weeks before in the Great Hall (mornings 7:10 am-7:50 am) and under the awning/front doors (afternoons 2:30-3:15 pm). Tickets will also be sold in the Summitt online store until Wednesday before as well. All tickets purchased online will be sent home in your child’s homeroom folder by Thursday. Check out summitteagles.org/store/ as the date approaches. (Tickets will still be sold during Eagle Fest at the ticket booth – cash, check, and credit accepted)
