Girls on the Run needs assistant coach
The fall season of Girls on the Run starts September 18. What is Girls on the Run? It is a 10 week program for 3rd-5th grade girls, culminating in a 5K run. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. Practices will be twice a week, Monday and Thursday, from 3:15 to 4:30 pm, on the Summitt campus. Water and a nutritious snack are provided for each practice. I am looking for assistant coaches to help out. You do not have to be a runner to help coach! If you are interested in coaching, contact me at [email protected]. For more information about the Girls on the Run program, visit gotraustin.org.
