Log on to the next PTA member meeting on Monday, October 3rd at 6pm. We will hear from students who went on the Koblenz, Germany trip first to learn more about the program. We will hold a short business meeting and finish with an AISD bond presentation at approximately 6:40pm. Learn about the bond and what will be on the ballot in November. The Gifted and Talented referral window is open. The window to refer a student for the program is from September 17, 2022, to October 7, 2022. Please note that there is only one referral window this year for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students will go through an evaluation process to qualify for Gifted and Talented or Talent Explorer programs. Please return the form to the front office by the end of October 7, 2022, to nominate your students.
There are several opportunities for 4th and 5th graders to develop leadership skills. This week the counselors met with both grade levels to talk about the leadership options and showed them the application. They can apply with this link leadership application or get a paper copy from the counselors.
