Math Pentathlon

Math Pentathlon is a volunteer-run after-school program that practices math skills and logical reasoning. We use engaging games to strengthen basic math skills, develop good sportsmanship, and foster creative thinking. We support our volunteers- you do not need to be a math wiz to help! Membership is open to all grades (K-5).

Registration is now open for 2019-20 MP Season!

Volunteering

We are currently looking for coaches for all divisions. Children of coaches are guaranteed a spot in the program. If interested in coaching please email mpsummitt@gmail.com.

We ask that all parents involved in the program volunteer at least once a month.  As a volunteer you may be asked to:

  • Sit with students to help keep them focused during explanations and game play.
  • Escort students to the restroom.
  • Clarify rules during game play with guidance from coaches.
  • Sit and play a game with a student.

Exceptions may be made in rare instances that it is not possible for either parent, grandparent, or other substitute to volunteer.
