We’re excited to kick off our annual Apex Predator Fun Run fundraiser at Summitt Elementary! This two-week program combines leadership lessons, character building, and a high-energy Fun Run event — all while raising money to support our students and teachers.
📅 Key Dates
Monday, March 2
Teacher kickoff (staff only)
Tuesday, March 3
🎉 Pep Rally (7:40 AM in the Cafe)
Students learn about the program and bring home their pledge kits.
March 4–11
🎥 Daily Leadership Lessons During School
Students will participate in short daily character lessons focused on leadership and positive habits.
Friday, March 6
🧡💙 Blue & Orange Spirit Day (Wear your Apex colors!)
Thursday, March 12 – FUN RUN DAY!

Fun Run Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – PK
- 8:25–9:10 AM – 5th Grade
- 9:15–10:00 AM – Kindergarten
- 10:05–10:50 AM – 2nd Grade
- 10:55–11:40 AM – 4th Grade
- 12:10–12:55 PM – 1st Grade
- 1:05–1:50 PM – 3rd Grade

📊 Previous Impact
Our previous Fun Run was a huge success!
- 💵 $47,030 raised
- 🎉 1,375 total pledges
- 🏃 33,665 laps run (2,104 miles!)
- 👟 419 out of 762 students received at least one pledge
- 🌎 Donations came from 37 states
Through Apex’s Giveback Challenge:
- 63 students reached $10 per lap
- Apex donated meals to Feeding America for those achievements
Most importantly, students participated in leadership lessons while helping strengthen our school.
What Is Apex?
Apex Leadership Company is a school fundraising organization that combines leadership development with active, fitness-based events like Fun Runs. Instead of just raising money, Apex partners with schools for a two-week program that teaches students character, goal setting, and teamwork through daily interactive lessons. Their team runs the event from start to finish, making it simple for schools and fun for students — while helping PTAs raise significant funds.
