Message from Principal Standish
Thank you for your generous donations for the laps your students ran for the PTA sponsored Fun Run. With the monies raised once collection is complete, Summitt will be able to secure the interventions for the 2017-2018 school year. It is a very exciting time. Summitt could not have reached past our goal without your help. Again, thank you!!
Dedra Standish

Save the Date: Spring Fling

Spring Fling will be at Abel’s North on Saturday, April 29 from 6-9 p.m. This is a fundraiser to pay for our technology teacher, Barbara Neill. Austin ISD does not pay for a technology teacher at this campus and we want to make sure our students know basic computer skills in order for them to succeed. More information about tickets, childcare, etc. is here:

Need clothing donations
Summitt clothes supply closet needs to be restocked. Students receive a change of clothes when they have wet accidents or get too dirty.  If your student needed to borrow clothes from the campus, please wash and return them. Please do not return the underwear. Due to health reasons, these have to be new.  With that being stated, Summitt’s clothes stock is in need of the following items:

New boy and girl underwear – Sizes 4 – 12
T-shirts new or gently used – Sizes 4-8 and a few sizes 10-12
Pants – new or gently used – Pull-on with elastic waists work best – Sizes 4 – 8
Socks – new or gently used – all sizes

Also, Summitt’s nurse office could use plastic grocery type bags to send home dirty/wet clothes. Bring these items to the office.
