Are you remembering to help your child get pledges for the Ultimate Fitness Challenge? Remember, if each child collected even just $10, our school would get $4,000!
Looks like the younger grades are getting covered, but we could use some volunteers for the older grades. Shifts are for 50 minutes. You can sign up for more than one. Feel free to pick the time your child will be out on the field. (You can see the schedule on Volunteerspot.com.) Use this link: http://vols.pt/eNUX2u
Remember, All-Star Active provides everything but a few volunteers. They bring us the obstacle course, do the set up, provide the prizes and even send ex-Army Rangers to facilitate. Summitt needs to provide only a few parent volunteers! And PTA gets to keep 50 percent of the funds raised! All those funds go toward improving your child’s school experience. Contact email@example.com with questions.
For several weeks in February, students will ask for pledges using cards provided by PTA and All-Star Active. On March 1, all day long, students – grade by grade — will be running through a 10-station obstacle course, collecting points as they go. Ex-Army Rangers and Summitt parents will be on hand to help anyone who needs it; the course is designed for all! The more points they get in the obstacle course, the more funds they can collect. Prizes at the $50, $100 and $200 paid levels! Top 10 percent of sellers can enter a drawing for an Wii Fit, Xbox 360 Kinect, or PlayStation 3. Look for details in Monday folders in February. Volunteers will be needed. See the course in action at www.allstaractive.com/video/
